Another hot and exciting Lap Battle brought to you once again by Matt and Biggie. These guys managed to get Chris Rado to come out and compete in the World Racing Scion tC! While pitting a fully-built race car and professional driver against a group of amateur enthusiasts was hardly a fair contest, it provided a great opportunity to compare speed capacity and lap times.
The showdown took place on the West Track at Miller Motorsports Park. Practice runs took place in the morning while qualifying and time attack filled the remainder of the afternoon. Although the skies were gloomy, the weather remained cooperative allowing plenty of clean runs to be had.
Below are the first place winners in their respective class. In the race class, Park Beulter took 1st in RWD class with a time of 1:38.826 and Brendon Stewart, with his time of 1:39.295, lead the AWD class. Chris Rado had some things to attend to but one of his crew members collected his trophy for fastest time in the Race FWD class as well as fastest time overall with 1:34.452.
In the street class, Gordon Anderson took first in FWD with a 1:49.015, Travis Williams with 1:56.781 in the RWD class, and Max Pollock coming in with 1:47.042 as the Street AWD leader.
Congratulations to all. Be sure to use your RSD credit 🙂
