Very exciting news from Subaru for the 2011 WRX is that the sedan will be getting a widebody makeover. Taking styling cues from the STi, the wider stance gives this Impreza a much needed aggressive look that previous generations have been known for. Not only does the WRX sport an increase of 1.5″ track front and rear, it will also receive a redesigned front lip and darker grill to match.
Also new are the wheels. At a respectable size of 17×8, the wheels are wrapped in 235/45R17 tires for ultimate contact patch.
Power has already been boosted in the 2009 models so you can expect the same output with the EJ255 2.5L motor rated at 265 horsepower. More than enough oomph for those wanting a nice and quick stock car but also a great starting point for those looking to modify.
The WRX just keeps getting better and better.
